Convert Synchrony Statements to CSV, Excel & QBO
Synchrony runs two separate websites. The savings side has no export. The credit card side has an Export button on some cards and not on others. The one thing every Synchrony account has is a PDF statement, and that is what this page converts.

What Synchrony exports natively, and where it stops
Whether you can export from Synchrony depends on which product you hold and which version of the website you are shown. That is not a great answer, but it is the honest one:
| Format | Where | History | The catch |
|---|---|---|---|
| Savings, Money Market & CDs | synchrony.com/banking, Statements section | PDF only | No CSV, Excel, QFX, or QBO of any kind. The banking portal has never had a transaction export. |
| Store cards (Export button) | mysynchrony.com, Activity page, on some accounts | Recent activity | Offers CSV, QFX, and QBO where it appears. Synchrony serves two versions of the card site, and the redesigned one often has no export at all. |
| PDF statements | Both portals, or the retailer’s own site for Amazon and PayPal Credit | Monthly, by billing cycle | The only format that exists for every Synchrony product, and the only one that shows promotional balances and deferred-interest dates. |
Synchrony export behavior as of September 2026.
If you hold a Synchrony savings account and an Amazon Store Card, you have two logins, two apps, and two different answers to "can I export this." The PDF is the common denominator. Download it from whichever portal you are in and let CapyParse turn it into one consistent table.
From Synchrony PDF to spreadsheet in two short steps
Get your statement PDFs from Synchrony
- 1Deposits: sign in at synchrony.com/banking, open Statements, and download the month you need.
- 2Cards: sign in at mysynchrony.com, or the retailer’s portal for Amazon and PayPal Credit, and open Statements on the account.
- 3Download each cycle as a PDF. Mix savings and card statements in one upload. Each one is handled on its own.
Convert with CapyParse
- 1Upload the PDFs, digital or scanned, one statement or a whole year in a batch.
- 2Review every extracted transaction next to the original page, with anything unusual flagged for a quick check.
- 3Export CSV, Excel, or QBO. Multi-account statements come out as one clean file per account.
Built for the way Synchrony prints statements
Store-card statements have a few sections that trip up generic converters. CapyParse reads them the way Synchrony prints them:
Promotional balances
Deferred-interest promotions get their own section with a balance, an APR, and an expiration date. Those lines stay out of the transaction list, so a promo summary never imports as a purchase.
Payments and interest keep direction
Purchases, payments, interest charges, and late fees are distinct on the PDF. Each row keeps its type in the export, which is what you need to see how much of last year went to interest.
Savings statements are simple, and stay simple
High Yield Savings and CD statements are mostly interest credits and transfers with a running balance. You get exactly those rows, dated, with the balance column intact.
Retailer-branded layouts
An Amazon Store Card statement, a Lowe’s Advantage statement, and a CareCredit statement carry different branding on the same underlying layout. All three convert the same way.
Why the Export button comes and goes
People search for "how to download transactions from Synchrony credit card" more than for almost any other Synchrony question, and the reason is that the answer changes from account to account. Synchrony has been migrating cards to a redesigned site. The old site has a yellow Export button on the activity page with CSV, QFX, and QBO. The new one, for many cards, has nothing.
Which version you see seems to depend on the retailer program, not on anything you can change. Quicken users report the same thing from the other direction: Synchrony has no Direct Connect, so automatic downloads stall or fail. The only reliable, repeatable path is the PDF statement.
That is not a bad path. Statements carry more than the activity feed does, including promotional balance detail and interest, and they exist for every account. Download them, upload them, export CSV, Excel, or QBO.
Three formats out, ready for your tools
CSV
Opens directly in Excel and Google Sheets with dates, descriptions, and amounts in separate columns. The universal import format for every accounting tool.
Excel (XLSX)
Native spreadsheet formatting, one sheet per account on combined statements, ready for pivot tables and formulas.
QBO for QuickBooks
A Web Connect file with the financial institution details QuickBooks verifies, so imports work on the first try instead of failing with a bank error.
Review everything before you export
Every extracted transaction appears next to the original statement page, with anything unusual flagged for a second look. Nothing leaves for your books until you have seen it.

Synchrony conversion questions
How do I download transactions from a Synchrony credit card?
Sign in at mysynchrony.com and open the Activity page. On some accounts there is an Export button that offers CSV, QFX, and QBO. On accounts that have moved to the redesigned site, there is no export. If you do not see the button, open Statements instead, download the PDF for the cycle you need, and convert it with CapyParse.
Can I export Synchrony High Yield Savings transactions to CSV?
Not from Synchrony. The banking portal at synchrony.com/banking offers PDF statements only, with no CSV, Excel, or Quicken download. Download the monthly PDFs and upload them to CapyParse to get the deposits, withdrawals, and interest credits as a spreadsheet.
What is the difference between synchrony.com and mysynchrony.com?
They are two separate portals with separate logins and apps. synchrony.com/banking holds deposit products: High Yield Savings, Money Market, and CDs. mysynchrony.com manages Synchrony-issued credit cards such as the Amazon Store Card, Lowe’s Advantage, Sam’s Club Mastercard, and CareCredit. Some retailer cards are managed on the retailer’s own site instead.
Does this work with Amazon Store Card, CareCredit, and PayPal Credit statements?
Yes. All Synchrony-issued cards print on the same statement layout with retailer branding, including promotional financing sections. Purchases, payments, interest, fees, and promotional balance summaries are read as printed, with each transaction keeping its type and direction.
Can I import Synchrony statements into QuickBooks?
Yes. Convert the PDF with CapyParse and export as QBO, then upload it in QuickBooks under Banking, then Upload transactions. Synchrony has no Direct Connect feed for QuickBooks or Quicken, so a file import is the reliable route for both card and savings accounts.
Is it safe to upload my Synchrony statement?
All uploads are encrypted in transit via HTTPS. Your documents are stored securely, only you can access your data, and you can delete any document from your dashboard at any time.
